Volunteering

Volunteer tickets are our way of saying thank you to the folks who help keep our events running smoothly. These tickets are free, limited in availability, and come with the expectation that volunteers will lend a hand before, during, and/or after the event as needed.

Volunteer Responsibilities

Volunteer support may include:

Early Arrival: we open up volunteer ticketing for events that require more hands to prepare, so we ask that those with volunteer tickets arrive 1 hour prior to the event

General cleaning: sweeping, mopping, wiping counters, and light dish washing

Bathroom upkeep: quick wipe-down, check-ins and tidy-ups. We maintain our bathrooms, so this is not a horror story, just a refresh

Setup and take-down: folding chairs, adjusting furniture, and helping reset the space

Quick errands: occasional short runs to the local grocery store for water or snacks. All approved purchases will be reimbursed

Clean Up: often takes roughly 30 minutes to reorganize the space after attendees have left
