Class Info:
Welcome to self defense for vulnerable people! This class will NOT turn you into John Wick. We will discuss keeping yourself safe as you move through the world and social situations, strategies for self-defense, and both demonstrate and practice techniques to avoid, escape, and get away, even if they try to grab you. There will be no punching or kicking. There will be escapes and evasions that work against larger and stronger people.
Bring a partner or find one there, but come prepared to practice with someone because we want to make these techniques usable for you, not just theoretical. We'll spend most of our time on practical exercises. (To make them really automatic you'll need to practice more, and we'll discuss that, too!)

In an effort to help our community stay safe, we have chosen to make this class free with an option for donation or gifts to the parties involved in setting up this class.
