Get ready to fluff, flirt, twirl, drape, whip, and werk your way through the deliciously ridiculous art of boa burlesque. In this playful, campy workshop, we’ll explore classic boa techniques, dramatic reveals, playful floorwork, teasing transitions, and all the gloriously over-the-top ways to make a pile of feathers look like the most important thing in the room.
We’ll play with movement, musicality, character, and audience interaction while learning how to make your boa part of the performance rather than something you accidentally strangle yourself with halfway through your routine.
Bring your sass. Bring your strut. Bring your BIG BOA ENERGY.
Feathers are encouraged. Subtlety is absolutely not.
What to Wear: Anything that you feel comfortable, fabulous, and can move in. Heels are optional; if you have dance heels, please feel free to bring them!
