About the Class:
In this beginner-level workshop, we’ll get up close and personal with one of a burlesque performer’s favorite accessories – the boa! Boas are a wonderful way to accentuate our movements and punctuate our music, and we’ll explore many ways to make the most of them in a burlesque act. No prior burlesque experience necessary. We will cover some burlesque staple moves and will incorporate the boa into them. You’ll be handling that boa like a pro by the end of class!
What to wear: Anything that you feel comfortable and can move in. If you have a boa, bring it along. If not, add one on at ticket purchase! Heels are optional; if you have dance heels, please feel free to bring them!
