About the Class: Class Dates Included: 12/04/2025, 01/15/2026, 02/05/2026 Step into your sassiest, most empowered self in our monthly burlesque class, designed for anyone ready to have a blast - no experience required! Each session features a fun, developing choreography that grows month-to-month, giving you the chance to learn, laugh, and shine. We focus on self-confidence, empowerment, and pure joy, with plenty of opportunities for laughter along the way. Class time includes group dance choreography as well as solo practice, so you can explore your own style and techniques at your own pace. Come for the dance, stay for the fun, and leave feeling more confident, playful, and fabulous than ever! Feeling extra daring? Participants are welcome to join our BOINK-lesque troupe and perform in our debut show on February 7th, 2026—but participation in the troupe is entirely optional. Heels are optional; if you have dance heels, please feel free to bring them! --------- About the Instructor: Carmen Celeste The Sultry Senorita of the Stage Carmen Celeste, the Sultry Senorita of the Stage, is a burlesque performer with a heavenly body and she knows how to use it. As her name suggests, Carmen infuses her acts with sass, seductive allure, and her signature Spanish flair. Carmen started her professional burlesque journey in May of 2022 as an original member of the andPasties Burlesque Revue produced by Ladybird Vixen. Since then, she has graced the stage in shows in her home state of Massachusetts, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and New York. Carmen favors a classic style of burlesque and loves incorporating boas, fans, and oh-so-delicious reveals in her acts. Her favorite element of performing is audience engagement and she delights in that connection. Carmen is also an experienced emcee, who loves taking her audience on an unforgettable ride through the magical and alluring world of burlesque. Carmen believes that burlesque is for everyone - at any age - and she has found empowerment, acceptance and joy in the art form and in the burlesque community. She looks forward to sharing her love of this incredible art form with a new generation. Be prepared to let Carmen sweep you away to a world where inhibitions fade away and desires run wild.
